Cedric Rudisill: Photography
Cedric Rudisill has lived in Christiansburg VA since his retirement from the Air Force in 2004. He honed his photographic skills as a member of the US Air Force’s Combat Camera Squadron for 20 years. A 1988 graduate of the Military Photojournalism program at Syracuse University, Cedric traveled the world documenting our armed forces in Somalia, Bosnia and Thailand to name a few. His images have been published in numerous national and international publications to include: USA Today, Readers Digest and the Washington Post.
Cedric creates images with impact and emotion. He has a masterful use of light, color and an ability to push the envelope. Through his photography he seeks to document the world around him, to capture scenes and events. Big and small, as he sees them and to share with others the beauty and diversity of the world he sees. As the images of other photographers continue to inspire him to explore the world, he hopes his own contributions will inspire others to do the same.
